PLOT PRODUCT INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

PLOT is a short-drama streaming app that can be used without creating an account. This policy explains what information the PLOT product team processes when you browse, watch, purchase, or contact support.

Information we process

• App activity: a randomly generated session identifier, app platform, story and episode identifiers, and events such as app open, story view, episode start, paywall view, and purchase outcome.
• Purchase information: Google Play product type and product ID, order ID when supplied by Google Play, purchase status, and a one-way hash of the purchase token after server-side verification. PLOT does not receive your full payment-card details.
• On-device information: guest session, story entitlements, membership entitlement, and limited viewing state stored locally on your device.
• Account information: if you register or sign in, the selected provider may process your email address, phone number, display name, account identifier, authentication tokens, and verification events. Passwords and SMS verification codes are handled by the authentication provider and are not stored in the PLOT catalog database.
• Support information: the email address, topic, and message you choose to submit through the support form.
• Technical delivery data: standard network and security logs may be processed by our hosting providers when the app connects to the service.

How we use information

We use this information to deliver the catalog and playback experience, verify and restore Google Play purchases, measure product conversion and reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support or privacy requests.

Service providers and sharing

PLOT uses hosting, database, media-delivery, Firebase Authentication, and Google Play billing services to operate the product. Phone numbers used for SMS sign-in are sent to the authentication provider for verification and abuse prevention. These providers process information to provide those services. PLOT does not sell personal information, does not use third-party advertising SDKs, and does not share data for targeted advertising.

Retention and deletion

We retain analytics, verified purchase records, and support messages only for operational, security, transaction, and support needs. Guest analytics use a random identifier rather than an account identity. You may request deletion of information reasonably linked to you by selecting “Privacy or data deletion” on the support page.

Security and international processing

PLOT uses encrypted HTTPS connections and limits administrative access to operational data. Information may be processed where our service providers operate.

Age suitability

PLOT is designed for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You may use the app as a guest, register with email, phone, or Google when those providers are enabled, clear local app data through Android settings, choose not to submit a support request, and manage purchases or subscriptions through Google Play. Account sign-in is not required for the free guest experience.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Questions and privacy requests can be submitted through PLOT Support.
